Welcome to Let’s Ducking Write! We’re thrilled you’ve chosen to join our creative Flock. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before participating in our programs, workshops, events, and community spaces.

By registering for any Let’s Ducking Write offering (whether free or paid), you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Membership & Plan Options

We currently offer three plans:

  • Hatchling – $88 (one-time)
    A four-week introductory workshop series (“The Incubator”). Perfect if you want to dip your webbed feet in before committing to ongoing membership.

  • Flying V – $144 (standard membership)
    Ongoing access to workshops, co-writes, our resource library (“The Nest”), and community (“The Pond”). Renews quarterly.

  • Top Duck – $669 (membership + coaching)
    Includes all Flying V benefits plus personalized writing coaching. Renews quarterly.

2. Payments, Renewals, and Refunds

Payments & Renewals

  • Hatchling is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew.

  • Flying V and Top Duck memberships renew automatically on a quarterly basis (every 3 months) from your original sign-up date.

  • All charges are in USD.

  • You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard or by emailing [hello@letsduckingwrite.com]. Your access will continue until the end of your paid quarter.

Refunds

  • Because our offerings are digital, community-based, and capacity-limited, we do not offer refunds for partial quarters, missed workshops, or expired access.

  • Special circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis—we’re human too.

3. Workshop Participation & Recordings

  • Virtual workshops may be recorded and made available to current members for a limited time.

  • By attending a workshop, you consent to being recorded if you appear onscreen. You are welcome to keep your video and mic off if you prefer not to appear.

  • Recordings are for internal community use only and may not be shared externally.

4. In-Person Events

  • Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Members may receive early or priority access depending on their plan.

  • By attending, you agree to participate at your own risk. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or lost items.

  • Please do not attend in-person events if you are experiencing symptoms of illness. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if safety or behavior guidelines are violated.

5. Community Guidelines

Let’s Ducking Write is a creative, inclusive space for all humans. As such:

We expect all members to:

  • Treat one another with kindness, curiosity, and respect

  • Keep feedback constructive and boundaries clear

  • Honor privacy—what’s shared in the community stays in the community

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or hateful language of any kind

We reserve the right to revoke access to our community and events if a member violates these expectations. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All original content, branding, materials, and recordings created by Let’s Ducking Write are protected under copyright and may not be redistributed or resold.

  • You retain ownership of anything you write in workshops or community threads, but by sharing it, you agree that others may view and comment on it (unless otherwise noted).

7. Privacy Policy

We collect only the information necessary to operate our programs (like your email address and name) and do not sell your data.
